“We flew into Redoubt Mountain Lodge for a day of bear viewing last week. Expertly guided by Wyatt we saw several bears with cubs just a short distance from our pontoon boat, also coming across pools of salmon and a number of birds of prey. It showered throughout but fortunately our boat had a roof and a warm hearty lunch in a well heated cabin kept us going. It was a marvellous experience - if you want to see wild bears up close, this is the way to go!”
“What an unbelievable 3 days at RML. The whole experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The food, the view, the staff and the wildlife. Our guide, Trevor, curated the perfect activities for us every day. There is such a wide range of things to do—bear watching (of course!), hiking, kayaking, relaxing in the hot tub and of course a helicopter trip to see other remote spots of Lake Clark National Park. This place is worth every penny and more, I’d give it 100 stars if I could!”
“Beautiful location. Insanely kind staff, especially Alec. The food was legitimately 5 star quality. Lodges were very nice. Getting to and from the location was interesting! Can not recommend enough. The experiences were amazing. We saw at least 15 bears, caught a fish (despite limited skills), and were very comfortable and felt safe.”
“We did a day trip to see the bears on Crecsent Lake, and the staff and our guide Holly were so wonderful! The lake and surrounding mountains are gorgeous, and it is impossible to get enough of them. The food was delicious and fresh. It was truly a magical experience to see the bears in this secluded environment, and we are so thankful to everyone at Redoubt Mountain Lodge who made it possible.”
